My OCA journey on the BA (Hons) Moving Image degree pathway started with the Moving Image 1: Setting the Scene course in March 2017. This blog is a record of my work and reflection on that course.

Assignments and summary posts can be found under the ‘Assignments‘ menu with various blog posts arranged in chronological order covering the process, context and reflection for each assignment. Some posts are listed under several categories as they reflect on both my learning and my creative process.

Coursework can be found under the ‘Coursework‘ menu. The Coursework is divided into five parts – Idea, Sequence, Shot, Sound, Final Film. Each part also includes reflections on the projects and exercises.

The ‘Learning log‘ menu is divided into:

Reflections‘ – longer pieces of reflective writing and questions I have asked myself throughout the course;

Practitioners‘ – notes and thoughts on moving image practitioners I have researched, and reflections on ideas and approaches I have considered for current assignments;

Exhibitions, screenings & reading‘ – notes and thoughts on exhibitions, film screenings, DVDs and reading throughout the course.
